Challenge
Efficient digital solutions for complex processes
Labor Berlin faced the challenge of simplifying digital processes for patients, physicians, and employees while managing content flexibly. The challenge was to implement the digital transformation step by step without compromising sensitive health data, while optimally serving all target groups.
Solution
Three pillars of a modern digital experience:
Website relaunch (2020): User-friendly design, responsive layout, optimized service directory for faster information search, XML importer for efficient content updates, and improved SEO performance.
Intranet relaunch: Modern platform for internal communication, employee networking, social features such as comments, likes, and a digital marketplace, plus secure VPN access for maximum data security.
Self-pay portal “Mein-Labor Berlin” (2023): Clear and convenient booking of health check-ups, integrated appointment booking tool Samedi, GDPR-compliant data collection via Usercentrics, performance tracking with GA4 and Matomo, secure usage thanks to Friendly Captcha, and chatbot support.

Results
Efficient, secure, and user-centered:
Labor Berlin now offers a fully digital, secure, and interactive platform for patients, physicians, and employees. The new digital presence makes it easier to find information, strengthens internal networking, and gives patients simple digital access to health check-ups. High user satisfaction, increased interaction in the intranet, and optimized processes highlight the success of this digital relaunch.
