– Finally! I have been interested in mobile technology since I got my first mobile phone in 1995. When I wrote my master's thesis for Telenor Research and Development in 2004, it was about MMS – which was then about to be launched. Now RCS has finally been fully launched and it is possible to send messages with photos, videos, and much other "rich content" directly to the SMS inbox on the mobile, says Are Solberg, Director of MarTech at Forte Optimize.

What is RCS?

RCS (Rich Communication Services) represents the next generation of messaging services, and offers a significant upgrade from traditional SMS.
